    About:
Patrick Hough (b.1989, Galway, Ireland) is an artist living and working in London.
Incorporating moving image, photography and installation, Hough's recent work explores the relationship between cinema, technology and museology through an archive of historical film props. By questioning the relationship between humans and objects (both virtual and physical), his practice reflects upon the way in which cinematic images are indelibly embedded in our perception of history. He received his BA in Fine Art Media from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin in 2011 and his MA in Fine Art Photography from the Royal College of Art, London in 2013.

He is a recipient of the Jerwood / FVU Awards 2017 and the PLASTIK moving image award 2017.
    Education:
2011 -2013    MA Fine Art Photography, Royal College of Art, London.
2007 -2011    BA Fine Art Media at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin.
-2010    Department of Intermedia, Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow, Poland.
